About Jiamusi University
Jiamusi University （JU） is located in the center of the beautiful and rich Sanjiang Plain and in the famous northeastern city of Jiamusi. Founded in 1947, it has now become a key comprehensive university under the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. It is larger in scale and more formidable with the integrated strength. JU has an area of 1.5 million square meters and its buildings have a floor space of 1.06 million square meters. JU has a total of 26 colleges with 72 specialties offering bachelor’s or associate degrees, and 34 academic disciplines authorized to grant master’s degrees. The specialties are included in the following eleven academic disciplines: literature, natural sciences, technological science, medicine, economics, education, law, history, management, agriculture and fine arts. JU has been operating its university with an open-door policy and implementing internationalization of higher education. It has established friendly relationships and educational, academic, and scientific exchanges and research with universities in more than 14 countries and regions such as the US, Japan, Russia, South Korea, India and Pakistan.
